They were also quite good in the times of Busby, Docherty as well as in the time of Ferguson.

It has only been in the times between Busby and Docherty, Docherty and Ferguson and since the latter retired that they have not been so good under a revolving door of less successful managers.

I would call it as "PROLIFIC" ( big word for you that sad sack) as any one else in the history of English football on winning their seventh.
When United won the last of their "7 yes 7" titles in 1967 no other team had won more at the time.
Yes Liverpool did win 11 League titles before we won it again, but then we rattled off 13 before they managed to win it again
